I’m so excited about my shopping trip today! My shopping goal is 90 dollars a week, I spent 81.34 and saved 92.62! Woot Woot!

Here is what I bought:

Meat:

  1. Steak
  2. Hamburger Meat
  3. Pot Roast
  4. Pork Loin(I’m going to cut in half to create two meals)
  5. Bacon

Vegetables and Fruit

  1. Pineapple
  2. Grapes
  3. Cabbage
  4. Carrots
  5. Corn
  6. Green Beans
  7. Broccoli
  8. Lettuce

Dairy

  1. 3 chocolate Milks and 1 milk(still have a gallon and a half from last week)
  2. Gogurt and 1 muller greek yogurt
  3. Kraft American cheese slices
  4. Shredded mozzarella cheese

Frozen

  1. 2 waffles
  2. Pizza
  3. Peas

Snacks/Other

  1. 6 bags of chex mix, gardettos, and bugles. ( We have a road trip this week)
  2. 2 lays chips
  3. Goldfish
  4. 2 Granola Bars
  5. Bushes baked beans
  6. 2 hormal wraps
  7. Bbq sauce
  8. hummus
  9. Frosted flakes
  10. 4 2 liters
  11. 1 international coffee drink
  12. 10 koolaid packs(10 for 1 dollar)

We always have fruit/vegetables, string cheese, and yogurt available to snack on.

Household

  1. 2 head and shoulder shampoos
  2. 2 dial soap
  3. 1 crest 3d whitening toothpaste
  4. Crest mouthwash
  5. dog treats

Breakfast: Waffles, Cereal, Toast, Oatmeal, and Pancakes

Lunch: Sandwiches, Chicken nuggets, Mac n cheese, and leftover

Dinner

  1. 3 meals left over from last week
  2. Steak, green beans, and baked beans
  3. Bbq pulled pork, pasta salad, and peas
  4. Roast, potatoes, carrots, and cabbage
  5. Tacos
  6. Breakfast for dinner

This past week, I was so surprised at how much leftovers we had after each meal. The pulled pork and hamburgers we made feed us for 2 dinners and a lunch. This helped carry over 3 meals for this week. I hope to be able to continue this and save even more money! 🙂
